II. DONATE to a specific FUND
The Saint Elizabeth Foundation helps 100s of people each year, thanks to the generosity of our community. Last year more than $160,000 was raised and supported more than 90 different selections. See some examples below.
Patient HARDSHIP funds donations topped $50,000 in 2009, and allowed us to assist more than 250 individuals during personal medical crises to obtain life-saving medications, durable medical equipment, purchase groceries, cover lodging, transportation, and so much more.
Other SPECIFIC funds: your donations may go to other specific Foundation funds to help in areas such as providing needed medical equipment for newborns, children, and adult patients; supporting our Regional Burn Center; the Community Asthma Coalition; Saint Elizabeth cancer programs and services; and infant or children’s services and programs.

Thank you EMPLOYEES
Saint Elizabeth associates/employees believe so strongly in the Saint Elizabeth mission that they also contribute significantly each year. In 2009, more than $165,000 was donated by them to assist educational programs and scholarships, our Chapel renovation, diversity programs, NICU programs and equipment, our Patient Hardship Fund, and much more. They also helped support a fund dedicated to assisting Saint Elizabeth employees (co-workers) facing temporary, personal challenging economic times.
